Besides, I got some lag in some cutscenes.
Out of those 2 things, the game runs like a dream for me.
So Atlus, please try to fix those 2 things, specially the -8 direction analog movement- issue!
If you reduce the sensitivity on the movement stick it's even better... then you can only move in four directions!
Yes, it is broken. And the developers still refuse to acknowledge it which is very worrying.
I managed to fix it but I don't really know how, I tried changing controller settings in Steam Parameters and the ones in the game settings (when right clicking on the name of the game) many times and it finally worked. Sorry but I have no idea what solved the problem.
If audio starts to skip/lag I just move the left stick and it gets back to normal.
I know this isn't exclusively controller related, but it happens only when using a controller.
Found a partial solution for this:
Go into Big Picture -> Library -> P5 Strikers -> Manage Your Game -> Controller Settings
Change the input of the left and right stick to "Joystick Move" and exit Big Picture
If you get back to the controller configuration you'll see the controller now correctly displays two analog sticks. This can be even more customized to your liking in the advanced options.
It doesn't feel as smooth as in a console, but it's way better than default.
I tried three different stick settings including "joystick move" and none of them had any impact at all on the digital nature of the walk stick.
I would still snap to 8 directions when moving (and only 4 directions if I lowered the in game stick sensitivity) just like before.
