Slow load times
Initial load time is as much as two minutes (on the top hat + flaming mask logo) and then in game transitions (same logo) aren't quite so bad but can be as long as 10-15 seconds... just long enough for you to start tapping your fingers in frustration.
Now I have this moved onto an SSD and has had literally zero effect compared to my HDD ... Anyone else experiencing this? It's not like it's a very heavy game (I have an RTX 2070 Super and 16gig) ... I just can't fathom how this is normal when more taxing games are far quicker.

Edit : Just to be sure I passed it back to the HDD. It's possibly a tiny bit slower but it's so noticeably slow on the SSD I'm not willing to believe it's down to the drives... Is it just a bad port and everyone else is tolerating how long it takes?

-- SOLUTION -- : Oh my freaking god it's the DLC... It came with a few extra things i decided not to install. Installing them solved everything. What a bizarre issue.

That happened to me when I first installed and played the game. After the first initial loading screen though, it would load much faster (guessing it was compiling shaders or something). However, after a couple of crashes this past week, the initial loading screen started taking a long time consistently all over again. I reinstalled the game and updated my drivers and that seemed to have fixed it for me.

Oh no not the old "Update your Drivers" adage ... that NEVER works (often it screws things up) but i'll give it a try.

Yeah ;-; It might be better to first try reinstalling the game and see if that fixes things.

So faster load times is being sold separately as DLC now? Oy vey...

Well... Thankfully this was a free DLC that came with the base game. It's actually an external program that I uninstalled since it had spoilers and I wasn't likely to use it any time soon... I'm guessing it was just getting confused looking for it? Probably an undetected bug because most people install it without thinking.
