PC Port Overview
So far everything runs pretty well. There are some issues though. Anti-aliasing is sub-par and there's a 60fps lock and a limited number of resolutions. Borderless windowed mode is in the game though.

Thanks for this. If 60fps lock is the only problem then that already makes it better than Koei Tecmo's own ports which are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ terrible.

I've had 6 crashes in my 6 hours playing it, its not a great port, and sonic 06 level load times on an ssd

The port isn't the best, but not the worst either. I'd say it is ok. With some bug fixes, it'll likely be a good port. Plug in a PS controller, and it automatically changes the control icons to match. Not all games do stuff like that on PC.

My only issue with the port is the mouse control. I think how they did it was bind mouse movement to the analog stick, which also means that quick, snappy movements with the mouse, translate to a slow, non-changing speed only dictated by the camera sensitivity you set.

Using fulls careen? Full screens tends to crash at loading and cutscenes.

Is that the problem? Is borderless better? I assumed it was cuz I tend to alt-tab a lot and it pauses loading for whatever reason, which lead to a bunch of crashes.
Let me tell you about the port and why I have such a strong stance. When you actually get down to the basic levels of code, it's less than a triple A in development but still more than a harvard univiersity student that learned to code. There isn't good code consistency when it comes down to the matters of logic and algorythms.

The graphics are a huger point of interest when you have a strong stance on the game such as myself. Are they sharp? Is the art style good? The answer to that is more advanced then you would like to think and is worth questioning because of the complexity and gravity of the situation. It all boils down to the choices they made in this game than the choices in the other persona video games that drag the factors that go into the quality of the graphics into a complex situation about fidelity and logic. That's just my opinion.

I'm using a GTX 960M, a laptop Upper Mid-range GPU, never had a crash while playing the game Full screen and on Mild (Medium) [11 Hours currently], my only issue is the default command mapping but I'm trying alot of combinations that I'll be confortable with.

Yeah the mouse controls seems only been implemented half hearted. You can navigate the UI with the mouse witch is good, but then in some scenes where you have to make choices they forgot to decouple the mouse from camera movement and you will get motion sick if you try to pick a choice with the mouse.

And then you got other instances where the mouse for some reason seems not to be locked in the middle of the screen and you suddenly find yourself not playing the game anymore because you clicked outside the window.

Also like in other ports with a lock-on feature, the slightest mouse movements makes the lock flip to other targets. And with how attack direction is not in the camera direction and narrow hit boxes it can sometimes be a nightmare to hit the right target without lock-on.

For the rest the 60-fps lock isn't really a problem it is not an fps where you want the most frames to react just that little faster. And so far it seems to be a stable fps which is more important then a high fps rate anyway.

I had crashes in the first jail, but the next jails i have never had a crash. And loading time are crazy fast for me

Changing to borderless didn't help the crashing. I'm up to 5 crashes now.
