sooo whenever i press pause which is what i would assume gives access to the settings menu all i get is a screen that says pause and nothing else. I'm very confused pls help.

I have already accessed the first menu after the intro but my sensitivity is set too high and i want to change it

You also could restart the game. Forcequit with alt+F4 and then restart.
You'll have to replay the first few minutes until you realised your sensitivity is too low though.

It's weird, the settings, in fact, the entire in-game menu screen, isn't available in game until you reach a certain point early on. It's absolutely ridiculous to be honest.

This, even in P5(R) you can access the system menu early on. Probably it's intended, but still.

Some people need to trial and error their graphic settings to get it correct. Having no settings option on game-play start is a really inane "feature". I bet a developer was told to make part of the menu not show up to prevent spoilers and they simply said "let's just hide the whole thing" because it was less work to do. It really disrupts game-play and starts people off on the wrong foot. Also, why did you randomly change some of the default interaction controls on PC? :( Without a settings menu, good luck changing them... if they can be changed at all. I still don't know. Because there is no settings menu.
