Just what did the original P5 True ending explain?
Anything specifically? I'm trying to understand it, but I'm completely confused. Anyone got a explanation?

It depends if you played the game/watched the anime/read manga or watched a playthrough

Of course, that's if you talk about the vanilla Persona 5 there's only one ending and that's......well I'd put a spoiler since I played but it's better if I don't to avoid accidental spoiling, if you DID do what I did mention above fully, you can go to the Megami Tensei Fandom, it explains everything.

If you're talking for Royal tho, I still have no idea as I only played the vanilla Persona 5, not Royal so we're going to have to wait until it gets released here

I know that they went out in the highway with the RV. However, I still really wondered whether or not he decided to stay where he was.

They were taking him on a road trip back home, but the royal ending plays into scramble/strikers better, because they take him to the train station rather than drive him home, so the rv in scramble/strikers is more of a surprise to him.

I see. Nice. So does this mean that Royal is connected to Scramble's story somewhat, with the train station?

Not quite. Also, I would argue that Royal's ending doesn't work for Strikers because in Royal, everyone goes their separate ways to pursue their own dreams. They drop off Joker at the train station and he goes back home, but everyone else has their own plans for their future. Makoto and Haru decide to move away for college. Ryuji expresses his will to run competitively again so he decides to move close to a rehabilitation facility to heal his leg. Ann decides to move out of country to focus on modelling. Futaba decides to go back to school. Yusuke has no plans but feels sad with everyone going away.. The true ending of P5R does not work with P5S.

In vanilla P5, what happens is that everyone decides to take a road trip to drop off Joker. He moves back home but everyone else still stays around in Tokyo so he could always visit.

Ah. Okay. This makes more sense.
