A Steam reviewer said that about the game :
"Even though it doesn't last that long, It has very impressive graphics, fun puzzles to solve and it gets you hooked over time."

Its playtime is 2.2 hours. Is the game really THAT short ? I don't really mind but I'm just going to wait for a sale if that's the case.

Although I don't want to admit it, even without looking at the guide, 2 hours to complete the game is quite feasible.I love the game and I'm not going to refund it, but it would be nice to add workshops and DLC later:steamsad:

Uh, that's still not something to be boasting about.

As a fairly seasoned puzzle gamer I just completed my playthrough at 6hrs. It was a good amount of content for the asking price

are DLC's or Workshop things planned? i mean vor 25bucks, 6 hours (and i took time and patience) is not very much :x

That's about as long as I was expecting it to be tbh. Games like Portal, Limbo, Inside are all about 3 hours long so... 2-4 hours is the perfect ball park really when looking at what it's likely going to be compared to.

For a puzzle game quality is more important than quantity. There are plenty of mechanics and tricks to learn - and no filler padding out the play time. I rarely buy games without a steep discount - but have been more than happy with Viewfinder. Loved every minute of gameplay (largely ignored the story, but appreciated the voiceover to make the world feel more lived in). A must have for puzzle fans.

I'd say two hours is realistic, until you specifically aim at getting achievements, and grabbing collectibles.

Doing every level, not rushing any of them, taking my patience with every level looking around and enjoying the graphics, made the game last 6-7 fun hours to me. It seems a lot of people are rushing + skipping every storynote they see and every single recording. And most of the optional levels...

Yeah it seems a lot of those people who do the game in 3 hours and more/less are skipping most of the game. It is like going straight to the end in Zelda TOKT without grabbing anything on the way there. Then that game gets pretty short as well...

I am on puzzle 3.4 - 3.6 or so and I am 68 minutes in. It needs to get really tough soon or I will finish in under 2. I played the demo so that likely made it much faster for me but still this is very fast for a 4 hour guess.

2-4 hours of content for 25 dollars? That’s a rip off.
There are much better indies on Steam where you’ll get a vastly better amount of content for a fraction of that price.

it took me around 5.8 - 6 hours to beat the game, great game

-------------------

wait, why my playtime get cut short to from 5.8 hours to 2.2 hours?

people complaining about a fantastic game with a unique concept costing 25$? And yet those are probably the same people buying unfinished AAA trash for 60-80$ at release...
I'm glad to support gems like this despite it's rather short playtime/ lack of replay value, it's worth to support these studios, they deserve it!

$24 for only 4 hours of playing is not worth it and its overpriced
