Find missing stuff

Hi there. Pretty new in the game and a bit lost. I have several "I lost my ... can you find it quests" and I do not find anything. Problem 1: I forget the 3 buildings they talk about immediately 2. I rearanged my whole city (changed location of buldings and changed where each villager live) after accepting those quests, now I am wondering if this affects the location where I have to look at.

Any chance to see which 3 spots the mentioned earlier? My city must be a whole treasure trove, but where is all the stuff??? XD Thanks for your help.

I don't know what impact the rearrangement of the town has on quests.
But I had the same problem and had to search the whole town to find the object !
One thing that may help: the object emits a "slight glitter" when you approach it (like the ones you can see in many shops for interactive items) and is always on the ground.

If I go into the build mode an try to remove some homes the game let me know that this house is part of an active quest. With that method I can figure out where to look at. Not ideal but maybe it works.
