How to get clothing/ facial hair?

I have a quest from a villager to get her a beard...I have no idea how to get/ find a beard. Is this something I can buy somewhere? lol

I am facing the same issues however I am thinking a hairdressers or clothing store might be there somewhere to build which may sell what I am after......otherwise I am not sure either.....

I got a beard when I finished the first world seed. I'm not sure if it's random, though.

You can get a hair salon blueprint if you plant a lot of shrubs and flowers. Sometimes though other villagers will give you a beard as a reward.

Yeah, it seems to be random; I've gotten the same hairdo for two different rewards.

Thank you all! I thought I was going crazy. I'll keep grinding and try to unlock the clothing/ hair salon lol. I already finished my first world seed and got no beard :(

I got a lot of those cosmetics also from goals, mostly the everkin goals.

Y'all are awesome with your responses. After unlocking the hair salon, I now have TOO many beards xD

The Tailor for clothing, the Hair Salon for hairstyles and hair dye, The General Store for wallpaper and basic items such as keys and ancient coins (you can also place the lucky boxes, if you have any, out front of the General Store using the customize option. This allows you to use the ancient coins on each box once a day to get a random item. I mostly get clothing or hair items), the Temple for villager skill boost items, etc.

I'm sure there are other buildings with uses, but I haven't used everything yet. lol

Edit: The Flower Shop sells basic items and the Bath House sells skill items also.

Ive opened so many chests and such, and ive seen 1 beard i think. This can't be right? Im at the 5th district. :|

build a hair salon- you can check Books quests to see what is required to unlock it

It's sort of a hash to do it this way but... Just put the plants down required to unlock the building for Hair Salon and then delete them. It unlocks and there is a whole dedicated row inside to facial hair. The little, I forget it's name.. goatee? Counts as a beard as well.

I'm stuck ere too - 2 people want beards and I can't yet build a hairdresser (assuming this comes after I get the town to 100% happiness which I cannot do without the beards!!) Have fully grown 3 tree worlds trying to get through all the quests, everything else done but if I get one more pair of eye lenses I'm going to go bananas

Unfortunately, maybe I need to stick this in the suggestion thread, I can't go back and look at requirements. In both my runs it's obviously been done, however, if you need the meadows at 100% happiness to get hairdresser then you can do other things besides the yellow exclaim marks wanting breads.

Go into the town screen and look at all your people. Look for the chat box, run up and talk to them. Look for clothing request. All those contacts you got? Hand em over to people wanting clothes. You don't have a temple yet I assume so you can't raise job skills yet.

The only townies you can't hand clothing over to is the veiled. The ones with the masks over their faces.

Okay, I wanted to add a screen shot on the requirements for the hair salon:

You don't need 100% happiness for this or anything like that. Just hit the T for town screen,

Put down 6 flowers and 6 shrubs. Exit town screen and it should give it to you. With 2 or 3 seed worlds you should have more than enough shrub and flower icons to stick in your town just to get the blueprint.

You don't have to keep them, can delete them right afterwards it doesn't take the blueprint away. :)
