Man, the thing in the lake

I beat every other game in the collection except for the thing in the lake. Kept getting killed virtually unavoidably by the gorilla spawning right on top of me, or else getting impatient and accidentally stepping on tall grass or a bear trap. It wouldn't be that bad if instant death didn't send you right back to the chapter's start, requiring you to do everything in the episode's checklist again from the top.

After my 20th time walking through that cemetery, I was pretty much done. I love this dev's other work, though.

Anyone else have an unreasonable amount of trouble with that one?

Funny thing is, I don't really know what, if anything, could be done to fix it. Chapters are short, and the mechanics are easy to understand, and on easy the monsters are pretty easy to deal with. Despite all that, I died *so goddang much.*

I don't consider myself to be particularly skilled at games, average at best, but I beat all the other games with almost no trouble. (robot fight in toy shop was a pain) but I straight up rage quit this one, and I never do that.

Yeah I'd say it was the hardest one for me as well, the gorilla spawning randomly ♥♥♥♥♥♥ me up a lot

Yeah, easily the worst game of the bunch. Wtf am I supposed to do? What are my goals (besides dying from enemies I can't escape). I'm supposed to hide from the gorilla? HIDE WHERE?! Everything looks like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ pixel. How do I hide? What are the controls!? This game sucks.

Well in that regard the gorilla disappears any time you leave the current map, even if it's just backtracking to the one you were just in, the grass guy only appears when you step on a certain type of tile or a bear trap, and I never got to whatever the third or fourth type would be because I was so frustrated even on easy mode :/
