Tech Tree Issues Fixed
Strange bug in which killing faction leaders will not disband the faction
Bug which sometimes crashed them game when a property owner lost it's final property.
Plot window is now above "All Characters" window.

Update 1.5 - UI Enhancements & Shorter Turns & Game Improvements

Many reviews of the game stated that the UI could be improved, so this update tries to fix it's issues as well as other additions that felt necessary!
Pass Turn wait time should be significantly shorter now, especially in late game!
Tech Progression window has been significantly improved!

Properties now have unique sounds to them when selected.
select agent from "all agents" will now allow you to sort by skill!
"Escape" should now hide the UI before leaving the map view
You are now able to control the "Ambience" volume (Rain / Wind / Etc...)
Property with an upgrade in progress will now have a unique icon to it.
Property with something in it's inventory will now have a unique icon to it.
Circular agent / task selection has been improved!
Customize Character will no longer hide "Opinion"
Prevent any sound from being spammed more than 3 times together.
"All Characters" window has been improved in terms of functionality and performance
Properties that get destroyed will no longer lose their ownership!
Employees will no longer whisper you about rumors that you plan to betray yourself (and other related events)
"Hover Models" (Mug for tavern) of your properties are now always visible on the map!
Now able to navigate between agents / properties with small "navigation arrows" next to it's portrait
Agent selection now has a small "Character Info" Button
Slightly less rain

We have recently returned focus back to Waiting For The Raven.
A sandbox scenario has been requested since the game's Early Access days, it has now come!

You may unlock this chapter by completing one of the Oracles very early missions - "Research Business".

We may improve upon this sandbox, using your suggestions and adding more mechanics / tension / survival / strategic options / paths.

The game now allows you to customize any character:
(Only available in the sandbox chapter)

and any faction:

To do so, press on the newly added Quill & Ink button in the Character / Faction - Info Windows:

We have implemented a new compression method to our build process, significantly decreasing its size on disk!

We have also updated the version of the engine this game runs on.

Note 1: We do acknowledge an update that fixes recently reported bugs surely must come, and as soon as possible.

Note 2: New bugs / glitches / issues may appear after the recent implementation, we may only ask you to please be patient with us since our development resource is somewhat small.

Changes

Fixed SSOF Expedition dialogues so the player will never be stuck due to lack of resources or any other reason…
Recruiting agent quest will now tick the objective if the player had already recruited one employee…
The options menu will no longer look blurry…
Added an option to toggle fullscreen / windowed.
Quest information could be viewed in full screen by pressing the “?” button next to the quest description…
Information about Ceasars Cypher in the book has been corrected.
A Bug which did not allow the player to ditch corpses in the sea or bury them in the forest has been fixed.
Fixed an issue with the pirate ship event which allowed the player to defend the ship only if all of it’s 6 guards are in it.
Fixed an issue with the final duel and a dialogue description which did not fit the player’s decision...

Changes

Added infrastructure which should prevent any turns from hanging forever and also report all of the past turn-freeze errors automatically back to the developer.
Fixed a turn-freeze bug which had occurred due to a rare case with smugglers not being able to generate new items.
Fixed shivering’s duel from getting stuck in some specific dialogues due to the fact that you work for Silkstring and not Fayette or The Oracles.
Some locations lose their “Disallowed Actions” upon game load, resulting in players being able to burn the cemetery and so on.
Added “Unlock Constabulary & Cult Of Flesh” to the Cheat Menu which can be toggled from within the game via SHIFT+END
Improved Loading Screen with additional effects so it won’t seem static.
Added inverted mouse ability in the options menu
Removed corruption effects from the strange artifact since they don't seem to represent a sane feature.
Fixed loading old saves issue (Relevant to patch 1.20)

Changes

Corruption wait duration has been doubled...
Corruption now also affects character portraits
Blocked the option to view information on unique characters, results in a bug that corrupts the turn passing...
The strange artefact can be removed from the room via interaction, it will stop the continuous corruption…
Mouse sensitivity will not reset after game reload
Brightness will not reset after game reload
Tutorial Toggle will not reset after game reload…
Fixed a bug with the final duel’s dialogue, which had resulted in no dialogue option…
Completing wizards secret mission doesn't award you an achievement
Finishing Oracle storyline without betraying them doesn't give an achievement either
Choosing not to help the lord’s hand will not result in achievement in the constabulary’s campaign.

Additions

Added a cutscene to the Constabulary chapter.
Added a cutscene to the Secret Society Of Flesh chapter.
Saving game panel will appear when the game auto-saves.
Add the ability to see why reputation was lowered/increased (Turn Report)
Bookkeeper release from jail should also increase rep.
Harold from the constabulary chapter has been too difficult to question.
Added a small label near locations inventories which indicate that the inventory refreshes every turn.
Time to go mad as AJX has been slightly increased… (Slower)
You may now sort by name in character windows.
Secret Society Of Flesh starts with more cultists (So the cult will grow faster)
End Credits Modified to have the new voice actors.
Additional Game Wide Misc Adjustments.

Bug Fixes
Plot cache still saves characters which are no longer in your faction / in prison / dead.
Constabulary could generate heat behind the scenes...
Recruitment Pools would not refresh every turn...
An error which causes a turn pass freeze as a result of faction leaders dying in unique ways and the
AI has no faction to handle.
Log spamming harmless errors fixed.
Fixed potential memory leak with information gathering / trait checking / - quest objectives…
Fixed a long lag which occurs after these types of quest objective has been validated.
Lionel Spinkel (Head Constable) will no appear on the Safe Landing quest details for easy reach.
Fixed harmless error in non-cult chapters.
Sometimes traitor employees would still be controlled by an AI even if they already moved to your side. And may no longer buy properties for you on their own balance.
“Betray employer” bribe option is no longer possible with characters that don’t have an employer (Faction leader)
‘David’ and ‘Elice’ are your cultists even when you play oracles.
A critical problem in which autosave would be delayed in realtime seconds and save during turn pass.
Input fields are now alphanumeric and will not support illegal letters which may produce an error when saving files / etc…
“Game has been saved “ notification should be changed to “Save Game?” (The message is incorrect to the state of saving & player may dismiss it.)
Interrogation Popups had bad fields in them (Displaying <ActorName> instead of the actor’s name.
Selling prisoners should now release them from prison… & make them unimprisonable (So if they didn’t die they will still not be abused)
You may no longer enter the final stage of SSOF with maddening voices and illusions.
Fixed a bug with justice case elements not being properly loaded from save. And resulting in a turn freeze after the following auto-save.
Fixed a bug with justice case elements not being properly saved, and preventing the save file from being created.

More updates may come in the future! (not in a form of costly DLCs, don't worry.)
This game has a whole lot more to explore and hasn't yet depleted it's potential!

For all of the faithful players who played the early version of the game, reported bugs, suggested ideas and helped with the improvement of the game's experience & overall quality, thank you! This game owes many of it's qualities to you.

I must thank you personally aswell for your enthusiasm, time investment and interest in this creation, I am a lone developer and the motivation your feedback had brought to me was the thing that kept me going through this very long process.

While this may not be the best game out there, I believe the unique concepts and ideas it contains may at least provide the strategy genre with new and untried gaming experiences.
