That said, once you do know the wider context and internet culture, it's a bit worse. The people who make and enjoy this kind of content can be very peculiar. There's a demo you can try to see for yourself, it's a very odd game but the fundamental gameplay design has a lot going for it.
So if the kids already watch Cartoon Network, I think they can play this game and no need to worry if this will be a gateway game.
Not sure what version of Cartoon Network you were watching, but from your reaction I don't think I will let kids watch that version.
But its a no-no to let them play an equaly cartoonish fashion related around weight gain and inflation as a game concept and not a fetish?.
I really dont know what to say about that.
