i can't eat anymore mushrooms to up my capacity and i still exploded during the size up for size 5 with the eating contest, what did i do wrong?

I know this is a couple months old, but I might as well answer. Basically, you always explode during the first round of the eating contest. After that, you get a magical potion put together for you by goat-boy, with help of the elder, and then you win the second round.

Hi, little late but I have to ask, what if you don't explode? I've just been deflating and I can't change it so if someone could help me that would be extremely appreciated.
