Boy did i wish I knew "I am death incarnate" difficulty was changed going into this...

Be me, i see civvie's video on RTCW, saying its easy, that the difficulties don't matter.

installs RTCW and see this mod's that's so well regarded it's more than likely the definitive way to play.

Chooses I am death incarnate, thinking its going to be a pleasant ride like civvie said.

♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ DIES over and over and now i think im just bad for some reason. I keep gettting cross mapped, out shot, shot in the back, shot from up top, having to carefully peak around every corner because every turn is possible death.

go back to watching civvie play just to make sure and he's having a grand ol' time which was a VERY bewildering feeling...


It was still fun but really ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ at times being shot in the back or laserbeamed from across the map in open areas in levels like the mansion and mines right before the final boss and it did sour my experience.

I am now re-playing the game on Bring Em On and wow its such a different experience. I'm pretty sure this was the intended vanilla way to play the game. But still the initial sting of that first experience is going to stay with me forever.

Yeah, difficulties really matters in the mod. In vanilla doesnt matter that much at all.

Is bring em on equivilent to death incarnate on vanilla?

Its hard to make proper comparison with vanilla difficulties since its all very different
