The level design of this mod is so unprofessional
I just reached the first boss fight in the crypt and there is only TWO extra magazines of Mp40 available, WHY????? And you have blocked the safty way back to the dungeon where you can stay safe from the monster ghosts that chases you. Why do you change the level layout?????

I literally stayed alive up to 5 minutes after completely using all my ammo and fighting the boss with KNIFE! it is not FUN it is just frustrating you put these electro ghosts in the church which need 2 entire magazines to die, besides bunch of zombies that spawn no ammo when they die but are bullet sponges and you only give 2 MAGAZINES (each 15 ammo) at the start of a BOSS FIGHT?????

Thanks but please do not change level layouts. That barricade should also be removed, unlike other boss fights this level has "Homing" skulls both from the boss and the zombies around, that is why in original game the saftey was not blocked, every boss fight has a safe zone for a reason.

As I alluded to earlier, you still have plenty of safe spots from the ghosts. The boss does the ghost attacks at predictable times, and you just need to break line of sight. Put a pillar between you and the boss, and not a single ghost will hit you for the entire fight.

I do strongly agree with putting more ammo in the starting room. The barricade is an excellent addition, but the player needs to be given plenty of grenades and 9mm (and maybe some shotgun shells for finding all the church secrets) so the fight is at least fair.

The new layout isn't being changed back, it was reworked because the original offered zero challenge at all (which is the entire point of this mod, of making interesting difficulty levels).

Just uninstall it and go back to vanilla.

I agree with the sentiment, but people are quick to forget they can also just... lower the difficulty. OP is specifically complaining that the new boss fight is too difficult. They don't even have to go back to playing vanilla. They can just lower the difficulty and the problem is solved. That's literally what difficulty is for, but people get weird brain-worms about thinking they must always play on max difficulty for every game all the time.

Have you checked your gender ideology page before calling people "Brainwormed"?

The developer himself has agreed there is an obvious lack of ammo and resupply package in this level and you they/them/who/cares apparently know more about the game than you know about body physiology. Just for you to know I killed the boss with "KNIFE" cause I had no ammo and it was an extremely frustrating fight because I had to wait for him to rush attack and go to recovery mood and then stab him with knife. Difficulty is not the problem, there is an obvious level design issue here specially with supplements.

Realism is significantly easier than you maybe expect because enemy health is lowered to half or even a third of what it normally would be. Ammo drops are not reduced, so you can get twice as many kills for the same amount of ammo. Many things become one-shot kills that would otherwise not be worth using.

Still difficult because you're limited to 25 health and enemy damage is extremely high. Armor becomes everything.
