Prismdex Usage

I wanted to talk about the Prismdex, I was wondering if you could add in a way to use the Prismdex. So when you scan enemies in battle, you could use it from outside of battle to view enemy stats. I think it would very cool since it adds an incentive to use it aside from the quest, and it would make sense since it is supposed to be a scan of enemies.
