Why? My switch version doesnt require that. The battlenet version seems to be the same and that requires it. It also says i have to make an activision account? Is this a steam wrapper for the battlenet version that requires battlenet?

it's been on battlenet for the past two years and it requires a persistent online connection, steam will be the same

Blizzard was bought by Microsoft, that is why we even have Crash on steam, you say it will have always online because it had it on different client 2 years ago. If you took like 1 minute to read text at the bottom of steam store page you would see there is no mention of this.

According to the agreement that you agree to every single time you buy a game on Steam, "the Content and Services are licensed, not sold. Your license confers no title or ownership in the Content and Services." You're not buying the games, you're buying the license to use them.

And it applies to all steam games yet you get mad you need to be online to play Crash 4, and write about it while being online.
