Deleted save file
Today i had a power outage, while playing the game, and while booting it up it asks me again to agree with the terms of the game, after that it asks me to make a new save and there are none.

Is there a way to recover my save file or is it just gone and i have to start form zero?

Never happened to me, but maybe your old save file are still in the save folder? Go to the folder %LOCALAPPDATA%\CrashBandicoot4\Saved\SaveGames\. Each save slot name will start with your Steam profile number followed by "SlotXSave.sav", where X should be 0, 1, 2 or 3 depending which slot you are using.

If you was playing on the first slot, your save file should be 76561198056902770Slot0Save.sav, see if you have a file with that name. Check if it have a larger file size than 6KB (the size from a fresh save slot). If it have, it really should be your old save file and you should be okay (make a backup of this file to another folder, just in case). Start your game again, and even if it ask you to create another save slot, create it on the same slot you was using, and start the game. If it works, you should be back where you last played, with your progress recovered. The only thing that should not come back is your play time, it would be like a new save file.

If your save file was renamed to something else, try renaming back to 76561198056902770Slot0Save.sav, run the game, and again, even if it ask you to create another save slot, create on the same slot you was using, and start the game. You should be back where you last played, with your progress recovered.

And also, maybe Steam cloud could overwrite your save file when you are trying to recover it, so if that happens turn off Steam cloud for Crash 4 and try again. When it works, turn on Steam cloud again.

Nothing, it's gone for good, the save file displays only blank text while a new file has all that it's needed, I resolved to get an already completed game file and i'll be playing liesurely to the end, only starting a new one if I really want to challenge myself.

Thanks for the time you've dedicated to helping me !
