Crash of the Titans is part of a pivot in the franchise in which everything started going down a very different path and many could sense an identity crisis within the series. The game isn't a bad game, nor is Mind over Mutant, but they hardly feel like "Crash" games. Any sort of potential updated port of these games would likely be marketed as more their own thing rather than being attached to other titles, especially considering they generally appeal to a different demographic than the core fanbase who either grew up with the original trilogy or were introduced to the series through N.Sane Trilogy/It's About Time.
