For those looking for a platformer that feels like the successor from the 90s era, this is your game. Fan service, expanded levels, alternate skins, good story, and character exploration, this game has it all!

For those hating on the difficulty of Crash 4, have we got just the thing for you. There is an n.hanced difficulty mod that will greatly change the game. Instead of collecting 12 gems to fully complete a level, you will only need to collect 2 gems (and few times a color gem) for completion. Platinum relics too hard for completion? Not a problem! You only need sapphire relics to get the true ending. Timeline levels got you down? They will soon be changed/removed!

This game is on sale at times, so get this game while you can so you can get the recommended way to play Crash Bandicoot 4 It's About Time!

-You download an OG Tawna replacement skin.

-You download an OG Crash replacement skin.

-You download the N. Hanced Completion Edition Mod (this one is the game changer and a must!)

All available via Nexusmods, all manual downloads, Vortex doesn't seem to be compatible with Crash 4. The installations of mods for this game are the easiest I've probably ever dealt with.


Too many changes were made to the original Crash games formula for me to recommend the game as is. The padding of completion for levels and skins are just wayyyyyy too tedious. The N. Hanced Edition mod makes the entire game much more palatable and brings it back to the OG formula. I still do not like the pre-school esque vibe the game has. And I definitely don't like how the developers or publishers made Crash PULL OUT HIS CELL PHONE, THROW A GANG SIGN, AND TAKE A SELFIE. Makes me want to puke. They tried to make the game relatable to Gen-Z, and makes the game feel like my grandfather trying to be hip and cool with the young folk.... eww dude. Stop it Activision... I know it was you.

Nah, nvm.... I just hit the difficulty spike. To hell with this. Stormy Ascent has nothing on this game. This is ridiculous...
All they had to do was make a Crash game with better graphics... why are they trying to punish us?
If I hadn't already put this amount of time in, I would've refunded it. I don't trust Crash games under Activision any longer.

I just beat the game. So any clown faces can shove it lol. You'll be part of the reason the Crash series "crashes" (see what I did there...). If this is your type of Crash game, goodbye old good crash formula. If the games don't take my time seriously, I won't be giving you any of my money. This game has a tainted reputation of being overly difficult, and they aren't wrong. I don't see the series lasting much longer if this is how the games will be going forward. Get the God Daddy Vicarious Visions back on the Crash series so I can go back to liking Crash again.... pls. Any clown faces can go play Dark Souls, leave my Crash alone, I don't want you tainting this great franchise with your bad decisions. There's enough bad in the world, put the keyboard down and go touch grass.
