Why can I not get this to work on windows 11?

I notice some of you have trouble with the game in windows 10 nbut I have windows 11 I have run compatibility mode and it still does not work any ideas would be helpful!

No problem for me on Win 11.

It doesn`t work on my Win 10 PC with a i7-2600K, a GTX 1070 and three displays.
But it runs on my Win 10 laptop with a i5-3210M and a built in Intel HD Graphics 4000.
Do you got more than one display?

First I tried using only 1 monitor, which made the game start but crashed after choosing a profile name. Only after like 12 hours i noticed that WindowsDefender spammed me with notifications that bmt2.exe didnt have the rights to access some folders. Enabling that let me choose a name. Havent played yet, will give an update tho.
Edit: It works for me now.
What I did:
1.Check that the bmt2.exe is in compatibility mode winxp sp3.
2.Turn off any monitors exept the one you want to use.
3.If the game starts now but crashes after entering the player name, look out for WindowsDefender. It didnt have the rights to modify folders in my Documents.
These are the steps I needed.
My Specs:
OS:Win11
CPU:5600x
GPU:6900xt
RAM:32GB

bro relax btw works for me windows 11. its clearly on his side thats having the issue.
