It's a deal. There is a high chance we'll be re-uploading the demo at some point before the release. I'll keep you updated on that. ;)

I was trying the linux demo, but it has disappeared on my computer and steam deck. :-O

I was having issues with the demo and then saw this. I knew the game was supposed to be available for Linux and didn't notice the demo was Windows only. Why would you do that? Guess I won't be able to try it, after all.

I'd be somewhat cautious though if they're really able to make a Linux version of the game if they can't/don't care to make a Linux demo. So, I'd not preorder...;)

I did try it already and every time I opened my inventory the screen went black. I came here to find out why and noticed this thread. Don't worry, I won't be pre-ordering. I do own several other Linux games from Daedalic, so it never occured to me the demo for this would be Windows only. Sad that it doesn't work. :(

Hi there, we are still planning to release the Linux version as it has been already mostly finished. We still need to deal with a few urgent things beforehand and will move to Linux right afterwards. Sorry to keep you waiting, we will get it solved as soon as possible.
