How very odd, buut try this.

From the main menu, pick the 2nd option (assuming the main menu displays just 4 options. should be third option from bottom regardless of the number of options). This is the settings menu - select the 3rd option here, and change the topmost value to your desired language.

EASIEST SOLUTION: Use Google Translator throughout the entire game to translate all text and audio from Chinese to English. You're welcome!

Game started with chinese at my PC too. My Windows language is czech. Why not just put language selection in the beginning? Anyway, I made a post with printscreens how to do it here because I was a bit lost even with text explanation:
