Thanks for sharing your thoughts on KARMA: The Dark World. Pollard Studios is a small, passionate team, that for sure, wsa influenced by visionary creators like David Lynch, among many others. The scene you mentioned is indeed a deliberate nod, something we have openly shared, has been part of discussions and is something we are very proud of. Inspiration is a huge part of art, but KARMA is not a rip-off. There is a big difference and whilst indeed in that one scene we pay tribute to David and Twin Peaks, in other ways and greater than this, I hope players will see how KARMA pushes boundaries and is carving its own space, with many twists and turns to create something unique.
So, yep, if you're a fan of David Lynch like us, and if you enjoy cinematic experiences, games designed to make your hairs stand on end, cause goosebumps and get your heart racing, we encourage you to play KARMA and experience it for yourself. We hope you enjoy the journey <3
Also, the reviews for this game are hilarious. 😂

If you're slow, maybe 7 or 8.
10 hours maybe with a sleeping pill in the head!
The only difference is that nowadays every second game is "open world" for no reason, except to add bloat. This is obviously not an open world game, so why do you expect an unnecessarily elongated play time?
If people judge that the art direction and/or story is worth their money, then what's the problem? Longer play time doesn't equal quality. Not everybody wants to have endless fetch quests and fight the same enemies across a 70 square kilometer map.
Ok, that is painted different. Yeah, Ive watched all David Lynch work, as early as in the 90`s. So it was easy to spot. But you never know anymore on Steam. The fact that we have a lot of AI slop going into the meat grinder. But as you say, its inspired. Im ok with that. Cheers and have a good weekend. Say hey to the rest from me :)
why was this image deleted from the store page screenshots selection?
Not much death stranding though some of the trailer had a hint of DS-feels to them, but thats it.
Demo gave me Kafka (Metamorphosis) vibes, Control, Some other games about mental illness, +++
Awesome.
