I kinda hate how weapon drops work in this game

What I mean is when a weapon drops on the ground and if its something I don't want, I have to either manage to jump over it or wait for it to go away. This kind of sucks because sometimes you might accidentally grab a weapon you don't want if its blocking a platform you need to jump on. I know that's how it worked in the older GnG games, but I would have liked it if you grabbed a weapon by accident the one you were carrying before would just drop to the ground next to you so that you can re pick it up if you wanted to. This issue kind of happens in a lot of other old school run and gun games and shmups also like Contra.

Thankfully Resurrection allows you to carry two weapons at once if you get that ability. I use this as some what of a safety. Meaning if I get a weapon accidentally I don't want (all but the knife right?) It just goes to the secondary slot, which you then just switch.

Its on Legend also. And if you have enough umbrel bees you can even get the option that allows you to hold THREE weapons simultaneously. I just have the two.
