Superdash gone, can't finish the game

I'm in the castle area, end game, defeated Cruel Lajos in Bowels, got the Yarema gland sorted out and I'm heading to the end, I think. There is superdash needed at the top of the castle and it's no longer working. It's not my controller, not my computer, it's just gone. Tried to relaunch the game, Steam, system, nothing. If that means I can't finish the game then gg devs -.-

Try holding the Dash button while staying still. Don't run left/right.

Tried, didnt work so I had to find my own solution. I got a reply from Humble that they forwarded this to you, my workaround was to backup save file, completely uninstall the game, uninstall Steam and install everything back. Then it worked and I could finish the game.
