How big is gameworld

Hey, fellow fans of brutal ultra-gothic pixel art action adventures. This game looks neat. But I'm wondering how many areas are in the game? I wouldn't want it to be too short for $20, hopefully more than 7-8 hours?

Ok, so I bought the game and started playing and am currently fighting Royal Infant. Good game, but I agree it can look monotone and it's grey all the time. So, how long to the end, this seems to be the second area, so probably not far in?

Glad I'll be getting the bang for my bucks.

I'm enjoying the game a lot so far. Exploring the Upper Castle after killing the royal child, and then I'll be heading down to the depths. How many areas have you encountered so far?

There's 5 areas, though one is split into 2 separate areas.

Thanks for the info. Would you count Outskirts, Castle (the first one; I take it Irma will be visiting Castle Apex too later on) , and Depths as 3/5 areas?

Provide the size of your monitor, the map won't be as big on a 21" vs 30".

I got about 12 hours out of my first playthrough on the Humble version, 8 hours on the second speedrunning through it. Your mileage will vary depending on how challenging you find the combat or if you just run past everything.

Yeah, I base it on the location categories in the mirror. Apex is one of the 5 too, so you listed 4/5.
