What are the "memory mould" items for?

Do they serve any specific purposes or are they safe to sell?

Finished the game right now and i think they are just a way to get more income and uncover more story details. i could be wrong, still to early to say for sure.

i'm pretty sure you only sell them to the lady in the hub, she gives you lore for each one.

Can you give memory moulds to someone else?
Does keeping them change anything?

Anyone find an alternate use for them besides selling them? I don't want to get rid of them if you need them to unlock something else.

Its just bizarre because some of them don't say that the lady, so I've kept those. I don't understand why they would say something different in their description if we were supposed to give all of them to the same person. Its so bizarre because I have no clue who else would take it.

Their only use is for having some extra Cash + Lore.
