GPU about to explode
I got fairly good setup with no lags on other games or temp issues. Right on launching game makes gpu usage 100% and stays there. after 15 mins of playing with minimal graphics normally cool computer is hot af.

Same, getting 40-50fps on low, FSR on ultra performance. Crazy.

That sounds like a cooling issue with your setup, have you ever stress tested it under heavy load before? You may just be able to set a fps cap to reduce the load and temps, if uncapped.

My pc just literally burst into flames after 5 minutes of gaming

Welcome to Unreal Engine. The whole game industry is getting behind this awful engine because it allows devs to have a uniform skillset that studios can comfortably hire for cheap. None of them seem to know a thing about optimization either. The graphics on a majority of Unreal games don't warrant the severe performance hit they have.

UE itself has always run like ♥♥♥♥, not just recently. It's always been a massively overrated horrible feeling engine. Every UE title ever made on any version feels like clunky unresponsive trash.

I'm on a 3080 ti with 3440x1440p and I'm on ultra running over 180fps
My rx 7600 is getting between 20-30fps in the tutorial at lowest settings ultra perf fsr. GPU is constantly at 99% usage and running hot af.
It doenst really matter if you put on ultra settings or extreme performance settings with FSR upscaling. Basicly it just isnt optimisted. Needs a fix ASAP specially when a lot of people are running AMD nowadays

Im running RX 7800 XT with an 7600X ultra settings getting like 40-50 fps, kinda sadge. *3440x1440p

My man the devs only reccomend a rtx 2070, with the minimum being a 1060. This game should not be that demanding, period.

It's the lighting system that UE has. I had to reduce to Performance settings, and I'll probably still have to reduce my lighting effects. My game runs a lot better during the night cycle.
