What you DIDN'T do was accept the creation of an Epic Online Servers prompt when you launched the game. No EOS, no playing online. Quite a few games use Epic's servers for online/crossplay access because of the game engine. It's cheaper than game devs making their own. Something like that, anyway.
You need to go into Settings -> Legal and enable EOS.
@Tachyon we understand that you don't need but after that sword rattling? your rant doesn't change the fact that right now it doesn't seem like you can change your mind - for those who might want to play with others.
"You need to go into settings" and that isn't working.
Thanks for the rant... that wasn't needed.
The link isn't working.
