Dropped inputs when blocking?
I've noticed more than a few times that when I go to block, dodge, or sometimes attack, my character just 'refuses' to? It's mainly when I go to block, that he'll just do nothing. Is it intentional, or is it a bug?

Don't know whether intentional or bug ... but yes, it is annoying, because block and dodge don't cancel other animations, which is standard in a modern combat system.

If no cancel = can't time block or dodge perfect.

I don't know if it's related, but I've also noticed how finishing a mining node tends to force another swing, without an input. This game has some severely weird control issues that I've never really encountered before.
This game, hands down, has the worst controls I've experienced in a modern game. I can't even count how many times I've died because my character just *won't react to inputs*.
OH MY F GOD...
I THOUGH I WAS CRAZY
Good to know i'm the only one feel that

Pretty sure the game queues inputs, hate games that do that, so if you tap dodge twice it reads both and queues up the second to occur right after the first. Since block is already jacked, this choice of input system exacerbates the issue...

This is my main gripe so far. Died so many times because block is not properly working, have to either slam the RMB or key it multiple times for it to work. As you can't rely on it, dodge becomes your only option.

FIX ASAP devs!

Recently I had notice a lot of times my character fails to start the blocking action. After some testings and I figured if a dodge or an attack is started while holding the right mouse key, when I am blocking, the blocking action is disabled for seconds after the dodge or attack animation is finished. This does not happen all the time but frequent enough to ruin the combat experience of my game.

Did you add test parry to that mix?

Blocking and parry have the same mouse input. I can not block or parry when the right mouse key is unresponsive.
