My Temple Woods do not re-spawn

I built next to the temple. As I built, I clear cute all of the surrounding forest expecting it to re-spawn in awhile like it did in Valheim. I'm still in a forest-less wasteland after multiple restarts and many, many in game days.

The short version is any trees I cut do not re-spawn. It's making getting oak a challenge.

Did you cut the stumps down as well? They give a bit of wood and I never had an issue with re-growth of the trees.
