Can we talk about the book cases?

I've been building constantly in this game and it has allowed me to not put it down. It's my favorite thing about this game until more content comes out. This game has the potential to be massive if you all do it the right way.

Now that being said, can we talk about the book cases? In my screenshots you can see that I had to put all the books on top of the case. They don't fit in the actual book slots. I'd love to build a library but sadly I cannot.

Lastly, I understand this is a very, VERY, back burner request and I absolutely don't expect this to get any kind of attention, but it's definitely worth a mention.

Oh I definitely agree, we should be able to put things on the shelves, or open an inventory that let's you put things in it and visually populate it. It is early access though, I anticipate it's something we will get, just not for a while.

I was expecting this to be about bookcase climbing. I never actually tried to put things on the shelves besides ramming more bookcases into the bookcases.

I have been able to get a few items on the bookshelf but it would be nice if they had a filled bookshelf recipe you could learn to craft. Potted plants and more artwork and other cozy furniture would be nice too. I can't wait to do more decorating!🥰

Nice! It would just be nice later on to have something that showed full book cases or be able to store and visually represent all the books in the game. That would be amazing!
