You might have to adjust the brightness of your screen in your settings on your computer or steam deck. Ironically I have the opposite problem when playing as I struggle to see my screen at night (in the game) because it is too dark but I can see fine during the day. 🤪

You can adjust all of that in the ini settings if you need to til they decide to help with any of that.
