cant unlock bow?

i cant unlock the bow to kill the deers.

you got too build the bow, craft it, find the materials for it, and will unlock the blueprints for you also do your main quest, 12 Ash Logs, 3 Coarse Thread + Crafting Table, now to get course thread you will need Flex or course animal fur witch is found all over the burned down village, and you can make course thread with the Spinning Wheel.

Make a spinweel so you can make Coarse Thread and the bow wil be available

Bow isn't required you can also use the staff, 2 shots should take down a deer and the staff has aim assist innately

You can sneak up to a deer from behind and kill it with a melee weapon by crouching. I had done it for the quest.
