Bug? Frequent additional left mouse action
I noticed my left mouse button frequently click the third time on its own when I had only clicked it twice. It happens a lot when I am mining, woodcutting, and during battle. It really messes up the parry and dodging when that happens. Does anyone else have this problem too? Please provide a solution if any. I am pretty sure it is not a problem with my mouse but the game itself.

I haven't had any problems with my mouse clicks.
I notice it the most when mining that when I click once, I get two swings. Click twice, get three swings. I don't know of a way to avoid it unfortunately.

That is exactly what was happening to me too, but I usually wont get it on the first swing.
Yes, same problem. Must be this "combo thing". If you click fast 2 times, a 3rd swing will added. And you miss then your block, after the second strike.

This is one part of the clunky and strange combat in RS (one other is the small delay after button pressing and dodge roll). In every modern action combat game dodge, block and parry ALWAYS interupt/cancel every other combat action. Here not. You get "stucked" in many animations and combat feels not fluid and good. Should be changed asap.

Absolutely agreed on that, they should change that.
It's a combo queue up.
If you click multiple times, it queues up another action on anything.

My advice for now is just don't click more than you need to.

For example when mining iron with an Iron pickaxe, I know that Iron ore will break after 2 swings or 1 critical swing. I swing once, if I see a 50 damage, I swing again, if I see a 100 I press nothing.

And believe me, I know the gamer brain of wanting to spam your click or button presses. I'm guilty of that too lol. It took a lot of self-control to play Dragonwilds with precision clicks instead of instinctively pressing more than once.

I swear many times it swings the third time when I only clicked twice. I also uses an iron pickaxe so I do not spam click it. It is guarantee not to happen if I only click once and wait for another second to click again. But it happens a lot when I click the second time too early.

Yeah It's a massive issue. While you can still technically have some "skill" in combat, you're pretty much F'ed if you're facing multiple mobs. At this point, all skill goes out the window. If you're playing conservatively then you won't be able to chain combos because you need to parry/block. If you're chaining combos then you can't parry/block. Either remove 1 of the feature or just allow interruption in the attacks.
