RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Resources, Recipe unlocks and building requirements need some work.
First off, really enjoying the game and know with it being early access there are going to be wrinkles to iron out. I've looked at the roadmap and couldn't find anything on it but something desperately needs to be done about resource gathering and how you unlock new recipes.

Resources: The amount of materials you need to craft some items are alittle too tedious to gather such as coarse thread. Coarse thread needs 3 rough fur to make and many items need 8 coarse thread to craft, problem is the animals that drop it only drop one at a time and spawn in very few and far between groups requiring you to spend 10-15 minutes just to gather mats for a very basic item. A possible solution to this could be a perk that increases the drop rate of materials to help speed up the gathering process for many items.

Recipe unlocks: I do like the unlock as you discover mechanic but all to often I'm having to go to third party websites just to know how to create basic items since there is no tooltip to help guide or inform you on how to create the mats for an item you already have unlocked. For example adhesives, it wasn't till I was already 15 hours in that I, by accident, found out that to make adhesives you have to put tar in the kiln.

Building requirements: I don't know if its just me but all the low tier/basic items feel like they are far harder to craft than the higher tier items (in that the effort it takes to gather the materials for them is alot more than than higher tier items). An example of this is the storage Large Chest vs the Small Crate. The Large Chest take 14 wood planks/4 blightwood/2 iron bars while the Small Crate takes 10 ash wood/ 4 course thread/2 swamp tar, I would rather smash my face into shards of glass soaked in lemon juice before I ever have to farm Coarse Thread, you could double the amount of materials it takes to make a Large Chest and I'd still would be able to farm that far quicker than I could 4 Coarse Thread.

In short, some things to add to the game or tweak would be a crafting tooltip, maybe a perk or gathering armor set that increases the amount of resources you get and an adjustment of the materials required for basic items.
