Stuck behind waterfall in vault

FYI: In the vault in the far north of Fractured Plains (the vault where you work on getting the granite maul recipe), there is a waterfall that when you go behind it leads to a cave room with ore. You have to crouch at the waterfall to go in, but once you are in, you are stuck. Crouching does not work to get back out. I'm sure it is a bug. Right now the only way out is to use the unstuck feature (PC: Escape + X).
I recommend not going in, as there is nothing but ore in there, and the unstuck feature ports you back to the starting point in the game derailing your progress in the vault.
