Dragonwilds – A Dream OSRS Evolution with Huge Potential
After spending over 120 hours playing Dragonwilds, here’s what I can say.

When it comes to gaming, especially for fans of OSRS, many players just want to chill—standing around the Grand Exchange or doing some AFK activity. OSRS is light on performance demands, which is a huge plus—you can even play it on your phone. That’s something to keep in mind when considering performance needs for players who don’t have high-end gaming PCs.

Everything should revolve around OSRS. It’s the small, familiar details that bring so much nostalgia and happiness when discovered. Just keep copy-pasting everything from OSRS—we want to follow that same journey. From quests to minigames, there’s so much existing content that could be transferred into Dragonwilds.

I can’t wait to see steel, black, adamant, and rune armours added—each looking better than the last. And let’s not even start on how amazing dragon armour could look with all the detailed textures! There’s also a huge opportunity to introduce new bosses, and even the Slayer skill could be a great addition. I really hope the developers are thinking about this.

The building system is awesome. I’d say that’s where most of the hours go—gathering resources, building your dream base, demolishing it, and trying again. It’s truly addictive. However, sometimes you want to show your base off to others without worrying it’ll be destroyed. Adding some mods or options to protect your base from other players would be a great improvement.

I truly hope this game is in good hands, because the potential is massive. But be aware—GTA 6 is coming soon, and when it does, a large part of the player base might shift. Rockstar will likely break all records, so Dragonwilds needs to deliver something incredible to retain its players.

Still, I’m curious about what GTA 6 will bring—but my heart is set on grinding my Dragonwilds character to the max, just like I did in OSRS. I used to dream about OSRS with better graphics and more fluid combat mechanics. It feels like that dream is finally becoming a reality—but it’s a fragile one, and it could be easily ruined if not handled with care.
