Base Raids

I haven't purchased the game yet. Me getting the game kinda rides on if you can disable the base raid system. Personally, I can't stand base raids. I like my base to be a safe area for me, and to not have a risk of losing everything I worked hard on getting/building. Can you disable base raids, or is that a planned system they are going to add? The game looks amazing, and I really want to play.

Base raids are weak as of now. They only happen when you are at your base and the enemies follow you so you can just run outside so fight.

Camp at the start area of the game, no dragon and the Raids are always lowest level.
Its a survival game, some form of attack on base is in a way required, same as hunger and thirst. Raids is now at a frequency of one every 2-3 days, often in the morning.

Maybe wait a bit, this game is early early access :D

The base raids aren't that bad until you get a little further in. If you're playing solo they're a bit more difficult to manage but 2+ people they're a snooze. Just go outside/away from your structures and you'll be fine. They're there to kill you, not sack your base, but they can break stuff swinging at you.

There are mods to disable raids as well as turning off damage to structures.

Base raids are leveled by region. If your base is in the lvl 1 area then all the goblins are lvl 1. If you built in the lvl 4 area then all the goblins are lvl 4. Put up a base in the stating area to make the raids easier to deal with if you are having problems. The enemies will target you not the base itself, go outside and fight them, they'll leave the base alone. If you build the second tier of structures it take the lvl 1 guys ages to actually break anything.
