RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

my feedback for the Game
Ok, so generally speaking, i would like to say that this is basically the runescape game that i've wanted from the start.

However i think you need to add a lot more of the mechanics from the original game, but i can assume that they will be brought in when the game comes out of beta, or at least closer to the time.

That being said, there are a lot of people mentioning about combat styles... but i don't see many people talking about materials, and if this has already been said than forgive me. If i seem like a weak noob, then again forgive me.

However personally i would like to see ways to increase stamina and health like you can within the original runescape games, you take waay too much damage per hit for it to not be increased as you level up.

I also believe that the basic materials that you need for some equipment is too difficult to get, the vault items i think those are fair game, with the odd tweak to combat as mentioned by others.

However in order to get Bronze armour, the weakest in the game apart from Leather, you need to go into an area, where Direwolves run as fast as you do, and can 2 hit you, the terror birds have a 3 hit strike within 1.5 seconds which almost kills you there, and then you have the other creatures, not sure if their goblins or something, haven't had chance to even look at them properly as i'm always running from the wolves.

However to get to the point, you need to mine Tin and Copper, which are only found in the 1 area, which is basically almost impossible to get any meaningful amounts of, because you almost die 5 times over just getting enough for 2 or 4 bricks of bronze.

In my opinion, just like in the original game, there needs to be easier accessible locations where you can get the relevant ores. Not saying there should be many, just 1 or 2 veins of each, and maybe even just for the Copper and Tin, but the leather armour does not help at all when it comes to defending yourself, especially if you're mining when you get attacked, at that point you're basically screwed.

Also, i'm not sure if there is any glitches with regards to the quest, i have explored the vault in the swamp area a few times, however the mission is still telling me to go to the swamp area. I've plundered the vault, killed the rat king, and still not found what i'm supposed to find to move the quest along.

generally i think it's a really good game, and i am enjoying it at present, and i look forward to seeing the finished product, however i think there needs to be a bit of balancing done in general with regards to the combat, and skills.
