Unplayable - Fatal Error on Launch

After the 0.7.2 update the game crashes on launch. Verified files, redownloaded, and bug report to dev.

My fatal error crash was caused by one of my mods. I thought I'd mention that in case it might help someone, although a few people with no mods have the same problem. Luckily, there was already an update for the mod, so everything is fine at the moment.

I literally just bought this game 3 minutes ago and it crashes after the JAGEX logo part ...

Post Update:

Fixed it by adding -vulkan to the game launcher.

Try it and see if that works because that launch option fixed my crash.

try using -dx11 to launch the game some people including myself couldnt run on -dx12 go to the game in steam and right click and go to proprietys and type in -dx11 for direct 11 might help some of yall

hmm I have a 7800 XT and ive been getting crashes every 30 minutes or so.
