RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Is it just me or the game is too expensive?
I was expecting a solid game at the price of 30$ but it feels so empty. Im 10 hours in and im already pretty much maxed the only skill that left is crafting which is at 37.
I already finished the story and killed the dragon altho it doesn't stop from attacking me again and again and again pure annoyance..
Am i missing something? 30$ for a game that's ended in 10 hours and if i replay it i will probably be able to finish it in 7-8 hours with the game knowledge i got or even less since i know now where to go for resources..
Why did the devs do like other early access game does like Rust for example, used to be cheaper on early access but when it was released there was enough content and they raised the price. Why couldn't they do it here? The multiplayer aspect of the game will die quite quickly since i doubt people who finished the game will continue to multiplayer where there is already plenty of cheaters..

Valheim was $20 and completely unfleshed out, barely worked, and they abandoned it.
$30 for a game made by Jagex which has been updating the same game and then re-releasing it for like 20 years now.. I'd say $30 is cheap we'll get a ton of content later if they stick to it, and decide to raise the price later.

If you are claiming that you're done in 10 hours on your first play through then you rushed it, that's my honest opinion. I just finished tonight with 33 hours in and I felt like I was tearing through the map. Not sure if you did all of the side quests or not but anyway back on topic I think $30 is fair. Even if you did complete the whole game in 10 hours you only spent $3 an hour for the enjoyment of it. For me, it was a buck an hour. Not too shabby in a world where many large titles are 50, 60+ with additional pay to win junk that they push on you at every opportunity. I think multiplayer has a lot of room to grow. Maybe they'll make different maps that are multiplayer only and meant to be "co-opped" and improve on anti-cheating and anti-griefing methods. I'm looking forward to what jagex does with the game.

30 Euro is one cinema visit with something to drink and eat. So about 3 hours fun. I had now about 30 hours fun with Runescape and will have more in the future. Pretty good ratio, isn't it?

much better then the ever increasing runescape mems payment =x (started back in '07 was only $5 a month)
If you take only the "linear path"of just chasing the one and only boss, then you're doing the game a disservice.
In fact honestly just rushing any Survival Crafter without doing the most important features of them - exploring, building, and discovering - is a huge disservice to the genre lol.
A lot of people look at the content of a Survival Crafter and just rush to the end, not even worrying about the meat of the content.

They DID do that here lol.
1. It says Early Access on the front page. It's 30 bucks, and it says on 1.0 launch (in 1 year or so), the price will increase.
2. If you spent less than 10 hours playing and reached the boss blind, you rushed it, which honestly is a huge disappointment, because the whole point of a Survival Crafter is enjoying the exploration and discovery, and getting creative with the building. There's a reason why Survival Crafters became popular after MineCraft.
3. It really sounds like you didn't read anything on the Store Page before buying this. That's really egg on your face. But at least you got the game cheaper. If you really don't want to do anything else in the game than just rush, then enjoy waiting for the next patch. We should see it within the coming couple weeks or so, with a new dragon for you to rush to, and 3 new skills for you to level and experience. (though with you rushing the game, I doubt you'll care for Farming much)

Early access?? You are trolling, right?
Try to read before spending money, then you do not have to wast your cash and embarrass yourself in the forum bc you didn't.
It's just you.

I been playing runescape for over decade, haven't paid a single cent on it for the past 5 years. But runescape has nothing to do with this game. Just because they own more "expensive" games made by them doesn't mean an empty game by them is worth $30
I bought it with skins but i don't see myself spending real money on it..

1. I don't feel like the game has enough content for a $30 game, if it wasn't for steam skins i would have never spent real money on it.
2. Rushed it? All the skills but crafting is maxed, main quest done, side quests - goblins, ghosts, g maul, wizard statue at the vault and the orbs there, dogs that gave me a pink cape. Basically i finished the main story and 5 side quests (idk how many side quests there are might have missed some of them.) How exactly did i rush? I never built myself a big beautiful house if that's what you meant. I unusually play the game instead of a building simulator so i had a 2 by 2 for all the structures that needed a roof.
3. Bruh i read it all they promised 30 hours of content but there barely was 10.
Unless it was tested by people who never played a survival game in their lives i don't see how can someone spend more than 15 hours on it

I was thinking the same thing and considering the game was much more popular recently and now dropped off to 18000 people im pretty sure multiplayer will be dead within 2 weeks

This game is worth $10
SanSoren Apr 25 @ 1:21pm
The game is not fully released. Do you not understand what early access is??? This is not even 20% of the game play. Read before you buy games.

For me it is worth the price. 10 Dollar? Just a coffee and muffin at Starbucks? Cmon ;)
