What is "Runescape" about this game?

No OSRS OST, no recognizable armors, strange weapon selection (no bronze-dragon progression), dungeon are filled with generic rock creatures? Just does not feel like the Runescape world at all besides its name.

As the armour in RS is generic from bronze to rune, and only bronze and iron are represented yet, only dev team knows. This is a BETA test of a game in development and represent a playable demo.
Lore is RS in the core. There are at least 4 mid tier wep from the RS lore in the game already like the G'maul and Staff of light

OSRS 8-16bit music would sound off in a game this good looking.
They already have a remix of Harmony in the game, and I anticipate more remix tracks coming. I'd rather them make new sounds, or new remixes than rehash old pixel-sounding tunes. Don't get me wrong, OSRS/RS3 music sounds good, but in a game like this it would just be wasted potential for something fresh and better sounding.

For me it has just enough RS elements to get me to finally try this genre of game and so far I love it. Without aging myself too much I have been along for the ride through all variants of RS and am excited to see what lore they implement ( that makes sense for the genre) in the coming months/years.
