RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

easy??
why did you just make the game easier and less challenging just to satisfy people who refuse to adapt in games, literally everything you just changed in the new update now may ruin the experience, i want the fear that my base will be raided sooner back, i want the dragon to be a complete menace to me i don;t want any of these reductions, even though you won't listen to me can you tell me why you listen to people who cannot even play games? you must have decided the original measurements were good otherwise you wouldn't have done them.

Blame the rage baiters and clown farmers. People are just salty and want attention nowadays. If you want the game to be more challenging, at least allow the devs to make a difficulty modifier + other modifiers for increasing raid frequency (e.g from 12 ingame days to 9 ingame days, (6 ingame days to 4 ingame days). Players can have the choice to modify their game world and game play to how difficult and challenging it should be. Hard mode is being added much later anyway, so you will still have that fear you want.
I mean I wasn't one of the people voting for less warbands/raids, but tbh it's welcomed.
Now if only they'd remove the dragon attacks once you've killed the bugger.

I don't get how people would think the games really that difficult.

In 12 hours you can hit full T4 gear and weapons at that point any fight difficulties are just not properly knowing how to fight.

Warbands die pretty easily if you stay in the T1 zone for a base.
The dragons a Joke yea it spits acid all over the place but you can just side step around till it flies off.

I dont think ANYONE asked for it to be easier. I think EVERYONE just wanted it to make sense. I guess you are the "mother may I have another type."
Tenshi Apr 23 @ 11:19am
the dragon just motivates you to make anti poison potions and when you have them, you can literally just stand in the poison and dance if you want to it's not a big deal whatsoever, and this mother may i have another type is a statement i don't know and makes no sense it just seems a poor attempt at mocking someone from my current opinion, there's a reason people say get good, it's because some people don't even try.

if people have a problem with not easily getting the anti poison ingredients they should also know there's a farming update coming this will most likely include base farming the ingredients, i believe you will all wish for the dragon to come back once convenient and you are bored by convenience

since it's early access i can forgive a lot of things, difficulty choice could still become a server option, in fact it literally says basic for server options and there's no advanced options yet

As I always said: Don't adjust, make OPTION as devs.

Means: Give us a slider from 1 = no menance and attack to 10 = you will die, bro ... so everybody can have the experience he want ...

But guess this was a "hotfix", in the long run there will be sliders and also "hardcore perma death modes", so just wait and see.

Because it grows tiresome rather quickly, sure the game is about survival but it also needs a balance for the player to be able to actually explore the game world.

Also I notice that this kind of discussion always crops up in every type of game, there's always that player that consider themselves so hardcore that everything needs to be on Dark Souls levels to be "a game" and everyone that doesn't like that aren't "a gamer". I've been around this tango far too many times throughout my long years as a gamer. Well it's an EA game and judging from the survey it seems like they're considering both hardcore mode and ironman mode for this game. Which should suit the Dark Souls player's need for another roll-dodge simulator.

Not by any stretch of the imagination is the difficulty an issue, even before you get geared esp. in starter areas isn't hard to deal with. The problem I think is the frequency, and the consistent annoyance of it all.

(Granted the games current content without the consistent distraction would lead to beating all of it in a matter of a few hours, maybe even faster esp if you just speed run it)

Never the less it's simply annoying, esp the dragon, regardless if you have poison potions or not, potions don't prevent the hit boxes, which are very easy to dodge. Also why dose the dragon still attack even after you kill it?

Then you have the warbands on top of the dragon which seems to happen every two minutes between the two.

Again all of it it easy esp. when geared, dodging the dragon, using poison potions to negate the poison, fighting easy mobs to prevent them from destroying your structures so on and so on..... Is just an annoyance, it has nothing to do with how hard or difficult it is to deal with them.... I mean even if a player isn't skilled or needs any gear/potions and die big deal you easily reset grab your coarse etc.

If you ask me I think the complaints come from the people who have already actually beaten everything, and just want to build in peace LMAO. Because let's be honest it don't take long to beat everything, and then all you have left is building.
Tenshi Apr 23 @ 11:58am
I have beat everything and from my perspective all these challenges made the game much better, unless you are someone who fears dying even though you lose nothing and actually if you do, most events just end immediately and enemies despawn

Never had any issues with raids or the dragon, only thing I don't like is the amount of food and water you need to consume each day, but off course they did not touch that.
So we have tweaked game mechanics, lets go to work and test some more guys :D

i frowned on warbands until i upgraded from my toothpick, now i like them.
