RuneScape: Dragonwilds

RuneScape: Dragonwilds

My concerns about the Game
Hello :)

I just beat Velgar today after around 25 hours of gameplay. I didn’t rush through the story and really enjoyed my time in the game! Since it's still in Early Access, I’d like to share a few points of feedback that might help improve it even further:

Beautiful World, but Limited Exploration:
The world is very detailed and visually impressive – great work! However, I often wished there were more places to truly explore. Some ruins look interesting but can’t be entered, and many caves feel rather empty. Adding more secrets, hidden areas, or points of interest would really reward exploration.

Loot Chests Feel Underwhelming:
Right now, most chests don’t feel particularly rewarding. Adding unique weapons, gear, or rare items as potential drops would make looting much more exciting.

Losing Loot on Death – Reconsider Weapons/Potions:
I like the mechanic of losing loot when you die, but losing all your weapons and potions can be really punishing. For example, in the cave in the level 3 area with the wolf and silver ore, it’s really tough to recover your gear if you die there. Maybe consider letting players keep their weapons upon death so they have a fighting chance to get their loot back.

Physics Feel a Bit Clunky at Times:
There are moments where the physics feel a bit off or stiff. Maybe this is still being refined, but I thought I’d mention it.

Post-Story Content Could Use More Variety:
Once you’ve completed the main story, there’s not much left to do except base building. It’d be awesome to have some kind of town board or bounty system with randomized quests or challenges to keep players engaged after finishing the story.

Again, this is meant as constructive feedback – I had a lot of fun and think the game has a great foundation. With continued development, I could definitely see this turning into a fantastic long-term game, maybe even with future DLCs or expansions.

Great work so far – keep it up! :)

One edit i forgott to mention

Using Health Potions in Combat Feels Too Slow:
In fast-paced fights, especially against stronger enemies or bosses, using a health potion takes too long and often isn’t even possible mid-fight. Since the game has some Souls-like elements, it would be great if healing could be used more responsively – ideally instantly or at least more quickly, so it actually becomes a viable option during combat.
