Has there been any mention that this game will eventually have almost all the skills from the original game?

I think it will have most RS skills in time.Though haven't read much about it.

Its very possible but not guaranteed. All signs point to a progression very similar to how RS3 and OSRS did over the years, so expect new skills, new spells, new lands, new monsters, quests...etc etc.
