Cooking Pot always says it needs shelter even when in a house

Hey everyone. Our Cooking Pot was working for a while in our ramshackle little hut with a roof, but now that we have actual houses with roofs it doesn't work in any of them, always stating it needs shelter. Anyone have this problem?

it has to be outside if i remember correctly, unless you mean a higher upgrade. i think only the pot-side has to NOT have a roof

Im having this same issue, same when i place a sawmill

place em outside, or remove the roof

Read it's description again, cooking pot needs to stand outside a shelter or at least on a spot in the house without a roof, just delete the roof part above your cooking pot and it should work again.
