Open Steam and locate the game title in your library
Right-click on the game
Go to Manage
Select Browse Local Files
In the file explorer that pops-up, locate the game’s executable application file
Double-click the file to run the application
You might get a different error message if you do it this way
Try reinstalling Epic Games Launcher if you didn’t after uninstall. If that doesn’t work uninstall it again. Make sure EOS is removed.
If there is an EOS folder in RDW’s folder you could try to delete it and repair.
Maybe something is messed up with your account link between Epic and Steam?
1. Uninstall the game
2. Open Steam Support page
3. Request a refund
4. Spend the money on a game that doesn't force third-party accounts/launchers on you
