RuneScape: Dragonwilds

Epic Online Services
Unable to load the game because of EOS. I hit play then the game will try to load EOS will shut itself down then the game wont open and the play button pops back up. Even if i try to close EOS it will not open and play will pop back up. Any way to fix or is EOS just useless and the reason its not working. Same thing is happening to Dead island 2.

Do you have the epic launcher? If so delete it and see if that works. I've heard it does.

Open Steam and locate the game title in your library
Right-click on the game
Go to Manage
Select Browse Local Files
In the file explorer that pops-up, locate the game’s executable application file
Double-click the file to run the application

You might get a different error message if you do it this way

Tried this as well. even rolling back drivers and all the -vulkan and dx. not sure what to do at this point other than wait to see if there will be a fix coming. Its all just based around EOS not letting it launch not sure what else to do.

Do you have a known working computer to try it on?

Try reinstalling Epic Games Launcher if you didn’t after uninstall. If that doesn’t work uninstall it again. Make sure EOS is removed.

If there is an EOS folder in RDW’s folder you could try to delete it and repair.

Maybe something is messed up with your account link between Epic and Steam?

Here's a how-to on resolving this issue:

1. Uninstall the game
2. Open Steam Support page
3. Request a refund
4. Spend the money on a game that doesn't force third-party accounts/launchers on you
