Tell me about this game?
What makes it different from the other survival crafters and why is it worth playing?

What makes it different (a single thing)?

The magic system is tied heavily into pretty much everything.

Why is it worth playing?

Because you have always wondered what a 3d iteration of Runescape's game might look like in real time. Also, it has a pretty solid building system.

And the writing is still as clever and poorly developed as ever- though it isn't their best work.

Would I recommend it?

Not in it's current state.
As far as I can see, if you are not interested in participating in an early access in beta stage, wait for release.
The class of game is the same as, as an example, Valheim.
It has its own map, progress as far as I've played it feels ok enough, and everything takes inspiration from the Runescape games. It was quite fun to 'talk' to the grumpy Old man (the one with a blue phat) again.
Go read the sales pitch in the store page and look up the roadmap page. I think it will end up as a good game in its genera
