I honestly saw the words Dragon and thought it would be a fun game to check out. Then as I glosses over the screenshots I didn't know what to think about the game cause there were not many dragons. Then I looked at the game's name again, and saw RuneScape and was turned off and just left the game's page.
I used to play RuneScape 20 years ago. Idk y it bothers me. Maybe the grind it had me at back then? Maybe the fact it was never about dragons back then? idk.
I don't understand what you mean by this. Both publisher and Dev say Jagex, which is what it was supposed to be. Unless you mean they changed what kind of games they do?
If that's the case, no they haven't. They still work on their MMOs, but they've always done other games. They have at least 3 other games that a lot of people don't even know about other than this one, and they used to do minigames in FunOrb before it shut down. Some of those minigames have been taken over by fans and remade or continues, like Arcanists.
I think you looked at something wrong or the wrong store page. Even in game it shows Jagex being the dev/publisher.
Steamcharts also lists any changes to the Store listing from price, developer/publisher changes, patches (even unlisted ones), review percentage changes, player purchases/playtime/peak hours, all sorts of stuff. There's not a single change listed about the Developer/publisher.
And I got this game the minute it unlocked for purchase, and it was Jagex then.
I'm positive you're severely mistaken.
